ABOUT BERENICE TEJADA
What drives me is the need for better cities. This is why I became increasingly interested in Mobility and Transport and particularly the positive impact that effective transport modes and functional public spaces can have on citizens’ quality of life. As a Transport Planning (MSc) student, I am very interested in furthering my knowledge in policy-making and governance, and in pursuing a research topic related to the impact of accessibility to public transport on equal opportunity access. As a licensed civil engineer in Peru, I have experience in non-profit organizations, public projects and transport management in the public sector. I am co-founder of a non-profit organization and deeply engaged with bettering the communities that surround me. From my professional and extra-curricular experiences I have strengthened my leadership, communication and organizational skills. Advanced use of MS Office and intermediate use of AutoCad and Vissim software.
