ABOUT BENJAMIN L. TOPPER
I am a CFO and operator with experience spanning large multinationals, high-growth scale-ups, and early-stage SMEs.Most recently, as CFO of Mood, I helped scale the business from first sale to a 200-person,$100m+ annual revenue company in under 2.5 years, owning financial management and control, data and operations, and playing a central role in driving growth across both D2C and wholesale channels.Throughout my career, I have repeatedly seen small and growing companies struggle not because of a lack of accounting, but because they lacked timely, commercially relevant financial leadership. A first finance hire is often expected to cover bookkeeping, reporting, analysis and strategic support - yet these are distinct roles requiring different expertise, mindsets and personalities.My work now focuses on providing SMEs with a complete, team-based finance solution, from core financial operations through to senior-level CFO leadership.
