As Digital Communications Manager for the British Association for American Studies (BAAS), I oversee all aspects of the association’s digital presence, including website management, the weekly email digest, and social media strategy.In 2021, I led a comprehensive digital transformation project, designing and launching a new website and modernising the association’s digital infrastructure. This included integrating a backend membership system into daily operations, migrating all communications and document management to Microsoft 365, and implementing enhanced security, accessibility, and GDPR-compliant policies.Ongoing work includes developing a refreshed design for the weekly mailing list and introducing new features to the membership dashboard, aimed at improving access to news, updates, and resources for BAAS members.
