Events Northern Ltd is a professional event and conference management company operating nationally. We provide effective event solutions and offer comprehensive event management services from conception through to implementation. We are committed to producing bespoke conferences and events to the highest quality which surpass the expectations of client and attendees. We go the extra mile to deliver engaging events which inspire, provoke action and deliver results. Conferences are our speciality and passion!From 2021 the focus of the business changed and we are no longer taking client enquiries and bookings. We do however produce consumer events in line with the passions and interests of the Founder. StationeryFest, PlannerFest and JournalFest - B2C events for stationery lovers, which attracts over 100 stallholders and 1,500 attendees annually.

I am a Lecturer in Business and Enterprise. I have been the Course Leader for the BSc (Hons) Business and Marketing Course for two years and I am now the Course Leader for the NEW MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Lancashire Business School. I have been a small business owner for over 22 years. I founded my business, Events Northern Ltd, in 2004. I am the Founder of StationeryFest, PlannerFest and JournalFest, which attracts over 100 stallholders and over two thousand visitors annually. I am an experienced event manager, event strategist, and small business owner. I am passionate about entrepreneurship and championing SMEs. I believe in the power of events and face-to-face connections. I have 25 years of event management experience, specialising in conferences, exhibitions and B2B events and working throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. Previously I was Deputy Editor for EventMB - now Skift Meetings - the number one resource for event planners (eventmanagerblog.com) for over 4 years. My PhD research focuses on how journaling can be an effective tool for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
