I am responsible for overseeing and providing strategic, hands on leadership across all of Cancer Card’s marketing activities.This includes- Being responsible for all Cancer Card’s social media platforms, including the creation of posts- Producing and hosting the charity podcast. This involves arranging guests and hosting the conversation as well as recording, editing and publishing the episodes on Spotify- Writing articles and press releases for the website and other news platforms including The Scotsman- Managing the charity mailing list and writing regular e-newsletters- Updating the website and reporting on web stats and trends- Developing a monthly marketing implementation plan- Produce briefs for media plans, filming, photography and creative (traditional and online)- Managing agencies and suppliers, working within agreed budgets- Generating and discussing ideas, exploring opportunities for traditional and digital targeting- Support Fundraising and Events with marketing plans to promote events, initiativesand campaigns- Overseeing the creation of online and traditional marketing collateral- Maintaining and co-ordinating brand management- Working across teams and develop and implement multiple campaigns – donor acquisition,income-generation- Identifying PR opportunities and work with existing users of Cancer Card to develop case studies- Working with the team to ensure consistent, personalised and engaging user journeys across all digital channels including offline integration to include website and CRM development, performance tracking and roadmapping, search engine mapping, retargeting on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
