Technologies • Entertainment • Sustainability • Bending-Reality • Consulting • R&D • Business • Film/TV/Video • Grants • I am an artist, inventor, media producer, entrepreneur, and consultant; with a strong environmentally sustainable focus, and extensive knowledge in the media and design disciplines; mobile, web, tv, film, software, electronic, mechanical, industrial, and biomimetic. A seasoned member of the start-up movement, always at the intersection of art, media, and technology; Ben has worked with teams as diverse as sculpture, new media, digital media think tanks, green energy, film production, ancestral indigenous culture, emerging robotic technologies, bio and nano materials.Extensive experience in product development and media; Ben understands product development life-cycles, and digital film production/post workflows, working in both commercial and non-profits environments. He has developed new technologies, media, research projects, products, and businesses; written, and been awarded, multiple grants/proposals; worked with over 1400 leading tech-entrepreneurs, designers, scientists, creative directors, filmmakers, and artists from around the world; and organised many training programs, workshops, think-tanks, and month-long artistic residencies.Ben\'s academic background includes a BSc in Robotics, a Masters in Business with Industrial Design; and understudying near 40 new media and digital film programs, at the luminary of art+science+technology+design research/production, Banff New Media Institute (BNMI); founded at, Banff Centre, for Arts and Creativity. Having long-term interests in design, innovation, and altruism; Ben creates products, ecosystems, blurs human and computer, challenges norms; and strives to better our world for humanity.
