As an Environmental Engineer in Global Environmental affairs, my role is to provide expert consultation in environmental compliance to Eastman’s global manufacturing operations by delivering strategic and tactical support that embraces and converts the complexity of global environmental compliance into value for Eastman. Additionally, our group prioritizes Environmental Advocacy and Implementation, which entails engaging both internal and external stakeholders to influence the development of scientifically based environmental regulatory policies, regulations and guidance that protect the environment and enable Eastman’s business objectives. Alongside federal regulations, I assist in the implementation of state regulations in Texas, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Virginia, New York, Florida, Alabama, and Louisiana.Specific areas of support include HON compliance, Operation Clean Sweep/OCS Blue Implementation, Title V reporting and permitting, and wastewater treatment.
