I am a software delivery manager with a passion for development, testing and quality assurance. I have 25 years experience of delivering quality software through various techniques and methodologies, from the early top down approach to more recently (past 15 years) using Agile/Scrum/Kanban techniques.Currently I work at Vocalink as the VP for UK software engineering for the UK payments system, Bacs, FPS, ICS and the Link ATM system. I am responsible for the delivery of all changes to these applications software.At BJSS I was an Agile consultant specialising in continuous automated acceptance testing for native and non-native mobile applications using iterative/Agile techniques. As part of this role I create full devOps solutions to support the entire SDLC.I was an Agile/Scrum coach for Man and BJSS and a member of various groups/bodies sharing ideas and techniques on Agile software delivery across firm in London.My technical back ground is in software development and non-functional & functional automated testing. My goals are always to produce high quality software efficiently with a high level of assurance, using various test techniques, making use of automation to its fullest.My current interests are around creation of high performing teams that create high quality software using an Agile and iterative continuous learning culture. Teams that are never happy to sit still and look to improve and adapt as the challenges come. Teams that embrace diversity and differing view points to then arrive at the best solutions.
