Key Responsibility Responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier selection, supplier audit, supplier approval, supplier quote, negotiation & cost finalisation in India with business turnover around $15 Million for Blackwood Engineering. Developing Casting and machining supplier as per Global standards & Responsible for Commodity pricing management, contract management, commercial clause, legal clause & Fix Price Variation classes as per casting index (Pig iron, Scarp, Power & Labour etc.). Sourcing & development of various commodities include castings, forgings, machined components, light & heavy fabrication, for construction and material handling machineries. Development of casting weight range from 0.5 Kg to Kg in different process Sand (ARPA & HPML), Resin, Vacuum, Lost wax Investment, Shell & Lost foam. Coordinate with supplier and approve the Pattern, Die, machining Jigs and fixture as per process. After casting & machining coordinate with quality team for the parts inspection through CMM & Ferro Inspection. Finalising the packing standards and despatch the parts to UK. Identifying the best logistic supplier for CIF and Door delivery to Customer in UK, USA, Japan & Europe Countries.
