Working within Aldridge, Borden & Company’s taxation services group, I specialize in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and compliance. I provide particular expertise in the real estate industry. I started my career at the Birmingham and Atlanta offices of Ernst & Young, before becoming Director of Tax for JDN Realty Corporation in Atlanta and then Tax Manager for Alfa Insurance Companies in Montgomery, Alabama. In June 2003, I joined Aldridge, Borden & Company, becoming a partner in 2006. In the fall of 2022, we opened an office in Auburn, Alabama and I relocated to that office.I am a graduate of Auburn University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of CPAs and Georgia Society of CPAs. I have also taught accounting and tax courses at Auburn University at Montgomery as an adjunct professor. I currently serve on the board of directors for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. In the past I have served as treasurer for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, on the the board of directors for the Central Alabama Community Foundation and as the president of the board of directors for the Montgomery Humane Society. I have also coached numerous youth soccer and baseball teams.My wife, Anne, and I are the parents of three children: Katie, Rob and Will.
