The Quantum Control System (QCS) is a hardware platform that enables physicists to describe their lab experiments in a high-level language to be executed in real-time. My key responsibilities include:• Designing algorithms that translate high-level quantum experiment definitions into FPGA-compatible instructions to leverage all the hardware acceleration capabilities.• Continuously profiling and optimizing code to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the QCS software.• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists, hardware engineers, and other software developers to advance the capabilities of our quantum control system.
