ABOUT AYELA CHUGHTAI
I’m passionate about applied machine learning research and love working on problems where real-world constraints, human behavior, and algorithmic design intersect. I’ve spent the last few years developing industry-scale NLP and decision systems, contributing to seven patents in personalization and IVR intelligence. Now, I\'m deepening my research training as a graduate student in ML and Operations Research at MIT, where I focus on optimization-aware ML, preference modeling, and multimodal systems. What motivates me most is exploring new ideas, understanding why models behave the way they do, and building systems that are robust, interpretable, and fair. I’m actively looking for ML research roles where I can contribute to thoughtful, rigorous, and impactful work alongside teams who care about advancing the field.
