CI

I lead the formulation and implementation of strategic policies focused on gender equality, diversity, and inclusion—initiatives that are pivotal to continuous improvement of the Bank’s internal culture and external reputation. I lead the Bank’s internal initiatives on gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, including overseeing the management of the Young Professionals Program. I reshaped and led the Young Professions program from a gender ratio of 15% women to 60% women. My focus is on developing and implementing transformative policies that position the Bank to thrive in an evolving global landscape; ensuring the Bank remains dynamic, innovative, and an employer of choice in the development sector. Taking a lead on repositioning the Bank as a gender responsive organization through implementation novel initiatives like the development of the Women’s Network and leading the Bank in attaining internationally recognized gender certifications like the EDGE Certification. I have shaped the gender discuss in the Bank. My work has directly influenced the creation of gender and diversity compacts that not only strengthen organizational resilience but also position the African Development Bank as a progressive global leader.
