Also assist in providing review of site and building layout plans to ensure civil and structural engineering requirements are adequately represented and feasible to deliver.• Develop and review complex structural designs for new constructions, modifications, and retrofits of nuclear facilities.• Perform structural analysis to ensure the safety and stability of existing and proposed structures under various load conditions, including seismic, thermal, and dynamic loads and load cases test, operation and transportation/rigging. • Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.• Ensure all structural designs and activities comply with nuclear safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.• Work closely with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to integrate safety measures into structural designs and construction practices.• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design calculations, engineering reports, and construction specifications.• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications and CDM 2015 regulations.• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.• Identify potential risks related to structural integrity and develop mitigation strategies.• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing structural systems and processes.• Manage implementation of work packages to prepare all relevant contract documents, method statements, risk assessments and any other associated documentation.
