Experienced child custody expert with over twenty years of service providing mental health assessment and diagnosis, and skillfully written recommendations to the court for the optimal placement of children in high conflict divorce cases. Served as consultant to the court in over three hundred divorce and probate related custody disputes in large urban setting. Cases include the most severe in the system including problems relating to character disorders, serious mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and parental alienation. Ninety percent of cases resulted in positive settlement prior to trial. Extensive clinical social work experience serving children, adolescents, and their families including psychotherapy, case management, family life education, parenting skills training, advocacy and expert testimony in Juvenile Court.
