ABOUT AVA TENORIO
I am a Purdue University undergraduate student pursuing a double major in Political Science and Business Management, with minors in Sociology and English. I plan to attend law school and have a strong interest in politics and public policy.I have gained hands-on experience in government and campaigns, serving as a Legislative Intern at the Indiana House of Representatives and currently managing a state senate campaign, where I lead outreach and voter engagement efforts.My research focuses on the intersection of law and social policy, including homelessness and Catholic Social Teaching in Los Angeles, artificial intelligence in the criminal justice system, and needle exchange programs across the United States.Through both my academic work and professional experience, I have developed a strong interest in how law and policy shape communities, and I am eager to continue building experience in this area.
