I work across a number of strategic enterprise accounts within Financial Services, focused on hybrid cloud, automation and platform-led transformation. Most of the work involves engaging with senior stakeholders to understand where there is friction — whether that’s cost pressure, operational complexity or transformation risk — and shaping opportunities around that.Built and progressed £30M+ pipeline across accounts including Experian, BT Group, Network Rail and FlutterPositioned IBM as a platform partner for transformation, aligning technology to business outcomes such as cost optimisation, resilience and risk reductionStructured opportunities across areas including FinOps, integration modernisation, automation and AI-driven operationsAligned internal stakeholders across sales, technical, product and delivery teams to structure and progress complex enterprise opportunitiesWorked across a partner ecosystem including EY, Capgemini, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant and Infosys to align delivery capability to enterprise transformation initiativesManaged £5.6M quota across the automation portfolioIn practice, the role is less about selling products and more about creating clarity — identifying where value sits and building a path to outcome.

ABOUT AUGUSTUS F.

A colleague once described my role as managing strategic accounts, shaping enterprise sales strategy, and focusing on outcomes. In practice, I work across IBM’s Automation Platform within Strategic Accounts, covering areas such as hybrid cloud, AI, DevOps, FinOps, integration and infrastructure automation. The focus is consistently on helping organisations move from strategy to outcome — particularly where there’s a need to balance transformation with control.Generally, I tend to work in environments where transformation ambition sits alongside operational pressure. Most of the work is about understanding where things are slowing down — whether that’s cost, risk, or execution — and then building a practical path that actually moves things forward. At IBM, I’ve been working across accounts such as- Experian, BT Group, Network Rail, Flutter and Bank of England. In most cases, the challenge isn’t the technology — it’s how to move from strategy to outcome without introducing additional complexity or risk.I operate at the intersection of strategy, stakeholder alignment and outcome delivery. The focus is simple: identify where value exists, structure the approach, and translate it into measurable business outcomes. What I’ve found is that the difference isn’t volume — it’s clarity. When there’s a clear link between problem, approach and outcome, things tend to move. That’s typically how I approach building pipeline and progressing opportunities.Much of my work centres on hybrid cloud, automation and platform strategy, often in environments where organisations are balancing transformation with control — which is usually where the real challenge sits.I’m particularly interested in conversations around how organisations are approaching enterprise transformation, and how strategy is translated into tangible, commercial outcomes.A key part of my role involves working across IBM\'s broader partner ecosystem, collaborating with organisations such as EY, Capgemini, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech M, Infosys et al- to align delivery capability with strategic objectives. In practice, this means ensuring the right combination of platform, partner and approach is in place to move from strategy through to outcome.A significant part of my role involves aligning internal teams across sales, technical, product and delivery functions to ensure opportunities are structured and executed effectively. In practice, this means bringing together the right stakeholders at the right time to maintain momentum and ensure alignment from initial engagement through to outcome.
