ABOUT AUDREY WILLIAMS

I am a junior at The Ohio State University pursuing a dual degree in English Literature and Strategic Communication. I am passionate about storytelling and problem-solving and I thrive in fast-paced environments where time management is needed, as seen through my full course load, two internships and multiple leadership roles on campus that I balance on the daily. My love for reading and writing began in elementary school, and it continues to shape both my academic and professional pursuits. Over the years, I have developed a strong foundation in professional writing with experience across social media, research and academic papers, feature stories, press releases and news articles.As vice president of writing for Fisher Ink Magazine, I guide peers in developing effective interview questions and writing for diverse audiences using Associated Press Style. This role has strengthened my understanding of nuanced communication and editorial leadership. My work with the Ohio Division of Forestry and the Ohio State Department of English has further expanded my writing experience, giving me experience producing feature articles and writing within established brand voices. This work has also allowed me to craft informational and promotional content for audiences of more than across LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram. These positions have deepened my expertise in audience analysis, brand messaging and digital communication.In addition, my role as publicist for Mountaineers at Ohio State has provided hands-on public relations experience. I manage the club’s Instagram account—bringing in over monthly impressions—and coordinate internal communications to keep members engaged and informed. I also organize Columbus’s only showing of Reel Rocks, an annual traveling film festival, where I draft press releases, create engaging Instagram ads and plan to pitch the event to local media.Outside of my professional work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new coffee shops and working on creative projects. I am currently seeking summer 2026 internship opportunities in communications or PR.
