Lead the re-platform/rewrite of the new Dasher on-boarding experience and the subsequent migration of the Canadian on-boarding flow from the initial proposal to the successful launch.• Stack: NextJS (React), React-Query, React i18next, styled-components, Storybook, Jest, Cypress, Sentry, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Vault• Provides a crash free user experience: 99.5%(up from anywhere between 73% and 84%)• Up to 9.9x improvement to FCP• Up to 10.8x improvement to LCP• Up to 6.5x improvement to TTI• Overall test coverage > 95%• Utilizes both SSR and SSG• Drafted the technical design and worked with stakeholders to make modifications where we saw fit and set expectations• Worked with other teams to set priorities and provide a date when they would be able to onboard their own work• Came up with a scalable design for implementing on-boarding steps and worked with the BE engineer to scope the necessary changes to the API• Did much of the project setup myself. This includes, but is not limited to- Created repository - Bootstrapped project - Set up infrastructure - Set up CI, build, and deploy pipelines - Implemented supporting frameworks and libraries (see \"Stack\" above)- Implemented linting (eslint-typescript) and code formatting (prettier)- Implemented client and server side mocks that can be used in development and UI tests• Migrated on-boarding steps from the old repository; built with the same functionality from the ground up for better maintainability and scalability• Collaborated with and delegated tasks to other engineers when availability permittedSupported on and lead the front end portion of enabling variable merchant commission rates based on Dasher wait times.• Expected to bring in $5Bn in annual GMV for 2023• Fully automates reporting that used to take 3 people 3 days each quarter• Implemented a new report option, a dynamic banner for merchant visibility, and additional copy that explains how the rates are calculated
