ABOUT ATIK PATEL

With a proven record of precision and innovation with strong foundation in Chemical Engineering, I am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary. My academic journey began at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, where I honed my technical expertise through an impactful internship at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and a research project on Industrial Dye Wastewater Treatment using Nickel Ferrous-based Spinel. Previously, as a Process Engineer in the Technology Transfer department at Pi Industries Ltd, I specialized in process optimization, technology scale-up, and seamless transitions from lab-scale to commercial production. My experience in executing demo batches, designing process flows, optimizing pilot plants, and conducting data analysis has strengthened my problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset. Beyond technical expertise, I thrive in collaborative environments and possess strong skills in leadership, time management, and public speaking. My active engagement with professional organizations, such as the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, allows me to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
