ABOUT ASH MALPASS

Over the last 25 years, I have journeyed from infrastructure architecture and strategy, systems management, process definition and alignment, all leading to Enterprise Architecture. The path has seen me perform a variety of roles form outsourcing sales engagements, leading technical implementation projects, and customer success and adoption consultancy. My career has largely been split across IBM Global Services, BMC Software and now ServiceNow. It has granted me the experience of working across multiple sectors, such as Finance, Telecommunications, Retail, Public Sector, as well as Service Providers.My key achievements have been: •Defining an outcome-driven Value Stream framework using TOGAF and ArchiMate to align value, customer goals, and delivery activity. including assessment processes and implementation steps. This has established Business, Technology and Application views to form a Reference Architecture across the BMC Helix Portfolio•Establishing technical and customer success communities for ongoing knowledge sharing, mentoring, and promoting thought leadership via webinars and podcasts, evangelizing Enterprise Service Management, AIOps, AI and Agentic-AI functionality•Supporting sales, customer success, and delivery to improve sales-to-delivery cycles•Forming a Technical Advisory and an adoption service to unlock customer value by analysing areas of focus (People, Process, Data, and Technology)•Acting as a Trusted Advisor, providing architectural and adoption support for customers •Driving Best Practice standards for solution implementations•Developing a strategic Configuration Management service offering, contributing to the overall service portfolio•Acting as Technical Lead for complex customer ITSM projects, including SaaS migrations, Configuration Management strategic planning, and operational transformations
