ABOUT ASHLEY PARKER MCHAM
My passion and desire to educate children stem’s from my experiences with my mother. Her resilience and perseverance, which inspired me to become an educator with a purpose is what fuels my determination. Her legacy of 30 plus years of educational experiences in urban environments, has given me the focus and direction to accomplish four things: • Ensure the overall success of my school/organization by using problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial tactics to provide the resources instructional coaches, teachers and students need.• Consistently evaluate the effectiveness of systems and structures to ensure continuous improvements.• Working with teachers and administrators to dispel the myth that student from underserved communities are not capable of high achievements. • Collaborate with a team to highlight the educational resiliency of students in urban communities despite the economic and social inequities that make it challenging. I’m looking for opportunities in a school, district leadership, or non-profit education management company in the GREATER ATLANTA AREA. I’m also looking to network with other educators to add value to current and future students and staff.
