Head of Legal - Disputes & Investigations team, reporting directly to Group General Counsel• Responsible for the bank’s response to disputes and regulatory investigations – including litigation, enforcements, FOS complaints, remediations, collections, contentious IP matters, and other forms of ADR• Overseeing the pro-active management of litigation/dispute risk, to give strategic and preventative advice• Review and ongoing monitoring and evolution of the bank’s dispute resolution approaches• Training and educating stakeholders on the avoidance and management of disputes• Provision of legal advice in disputes, regulatory investigations and enforcement, fraud and financial crime, collections recoveries and enforcement, remediations, and complex complaints and groups of connected complaints• Managing on contentious matters in a timely and cost-effective manner• Liaising with stakeholders at all levels, up to CEO, Executive, and Board, including representing the full legal team at internal governance committees • Managing and supporting the development of direct reports• Leading on recruitment campaigns into Disputes & Investigations team
