Independently responsible for the administration and user support of the Invoice Management System, Electronic Requisition System, and Port Call Reporting System for the Port Operations Department – serving over 3,500 active users across the globe\\\\n•Act as a liaison between the department and external technology firm which develops and maintains the IT systems as well as Audit and Compliance\\\\n•Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve performance for both business and system performance such as vendor and user clean up, weekly financial reports to Shipboard Financial Controllers and quarterly review of vendor aging accounts\\\\n•Access, extract, download, manipulate, and assist in analyses of data from various internal databases used to facilitate key operational and strategic decisions\\\\n•Participate in special projects as requested by Operating Groups such to build cohesive business relationships\\\\n•Maintain working knowledge of systems and processes by attending industry forums and other relevant training courses such as SQL training, Excel and Power BI Courses, and Project Management foundation courses\\\\n•Create training materials such as videos, training manuals and Standard Operating Procedures to facilitate the training of all users for all systems\\\\n•Undertook the process to develop and maintain the new vendor vetting, paperwork, and setup\\\\n•Provide support to the PMO Manager in all projects related to the department\\\\n•Manage an analyst in the international office to assist and support with the day-to-day administrative tasks\\\\n• Facilitated a project for the Invoice Management System that led to the departments accruals being managed from an excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Access to an Accrual Module within IMS which streamlined our process, helped the analysts be much more efficient, but has also allowed for KPI’s to be created as well as overall better management of finances with the prospect of bringing in our forecast and much more\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
