ABOUT ASHLEY BRINKMAN

Growing up, I always had a fascination for the arts. Whether this was through dancing or expressing my emotions with graphics, my goal was and still is to create an impact on others. As an avid dancer of 18 years, I have dealt with the highs and lows of life through a creative outlook. When you are dancing on your toes, you slowly understand that there is a \'pointe\' to life\'s madness: to learn, adapt, and grow. At the age of three, my life became engulfed with dance. From walking on my toes in the grocery store, to performing cartwheels in the school hallways, dance has shaped my life drastically. Due to its visual components, I knew my creative outlook triumphed many other components that became present within my years of growing up. Thus, when entering high school, I knew I found my calling to inspire others: through graphic design. Starting my sophomore year of high school in a journalism class opened my eyes to the unknown world of graphics. Although it took time, I recognized the opportunity it presented, as it played a pivotal role in my daily life. From running one of my high school\'s social media accounts to creating graphics for UCF\'s Knight-Thon, I am privileged to develop models that aid emotional outlooks for others. Today, as a full-time student at the University of Central Florida, a Social Media intern for FAIRWINDS Credit Union, the Marketing Director for Knight-Thon, and a ballet instructor who has auditioned with companies such as the Rockettes, I am fortunate to partake in others\'\"life\'s madness.\" I thrive from creativity, organization, responsibility, and above all, a reaction from others\' perspectives. Creating an impact on tomorrow\'s \"what if\'s?\" is my key to success.
