ABOUT ASHLEIGH BROWN

We are wired to connect – our need for it is as fundamental as food and water. The most significant element of why I do what I do (and why I love it so much) is that I get the chance to constantly be connecting with people, and to help others make connections that might lead to a company finding that perfect new addition for their team, or to a candidate finding their dream job. Human beings are like puzzle pieces – it’s my goal to find the ones that fit together just right. Anyone who works in recruiting will tell you it’s not an easy job, but I’ve always loved a challenge. I went to Robert Half to find accounting work, and instead was encouraged to join the company after being told I was too “social” to be an accountant. Over the course of 18 years, I’ve proudly helped build Robert Half’s branches in Western Canada into what they are today. I’ve worked as a senior recruiter, an advisor, a business consultant, and a strategic relationship manager. Currently, I specialize in retained search for senior-level professionals within the industrial, non-profit, financial services, healthcare, consumer products, and institutional sectors in my role as Group Managing Director across Western Canada for Robert Half’s Executive Search team. For the last two years, I’ve had the honour of being featured as a BC500 Leader in Staffing & Employment. I’m passionate about engaging with others, telling stories, and seeing how the companies and candidates I work with grow over time. I’m intensely determined to help people find what they’re looking for, and strongly believe in championing the best candidate, not the easiest one. Let’s #connect.
