Hi! My name is Ashanti Lawson. I\'m a fourth-year student at Spelman College from the metro Atlanta area. I am a passionate Biology major with a strong interest in medicine/health careers demonstrated through my currents efforts serving marginalized and underrepresented communities. I\'m interested in a medical internship/research experience with a progressive program that promotes diversity and inclusion located domestically or internationally. I have experience in molecular and plant biology research and working in a laboratory environment. I also have extensive volunteer service in the clinical setting through the Children\'s Healthcare of Atlanta College Volunteer program.
