ABOUT CHEYANNE SPARKMAN
I am a knowledge seeker with a growth mindset; I believe in continuous growth through education and life experience. I have always viewed myself as someone who contemplates everything around me and does not settle for a simple explanation but instead strives to dig deeper. I am a fourth-year Biochemistry major, Spanish minor at Spelman College. I am interested in pursuing an MD-Ph.D. and becoming a physician-scientist. I want to specialize in forensic pathology. I want my career to be centered around providing care to those in need from a medical scientist\'s perspective. My career will reflect my core values and interests in advocating and representing my community in the medical field. To achieve my goals I am seeking clinical experience in shadowing and further research experience focused on biochemistry and pathology.
