ABOUT ASAD KHAN

With more than 15 years in life sciences and technology, I have built my career on driving digital and AI innovation in clinical trials, making them more efficient, accessible, and patient focused. I began in clinical research and project management, deploying eClinical and SaaS solutions such as CTMS, eCOA, and data analytics. These roles gave me deep expertise in trial operations and regulatory requirements while sharpening my ability to deliver innovation at scale. Since then I have guided global teams, advised sponsors and CROs, and led the adoption of decentralised and digital trial technologies. Most recently, I have moved into Agentic AI for Clinical development, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise sponsors on how intelligent automation can transform clinical trial operations, accelerating the path to human discovery while delivering measurable outcomes across their portfolios. I am recognised for building trusted partnerships, delivering results, and mentoring high-performing teams, always with the goal of creating value for patients and sites. I am especially passionate about eCOA and DCT adoption, tailoring approaches to local needs while empowering patients and enabling sites to work more efficiently. At the core of my work is a simple belief: clinical trials should be both innovative and human, accelerating access to therapies while supporting the people at the heart of research.
