Performing automation and non-functional/performance testing in a geographically distributed Agile (Scrum) team, consisting of Machine Learning and Backend Engineers, building a conversational AI agent (AI chatbot) development framework. Initiatives- Integration tests automation: Developed a Python based automated tests framework to verify the integration/compatibility of the in-house AI-chatbot framework with external cloud providers of LLMs and Embeddings models, such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI Service, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock and SageMaker, and Hugging Face Inference Endpoints; as well as with custom MCP tools and A2A agents- API tests automation: Developed automated REST API tests, using Pytest framework, based on OpenAPI specification, with test reports generated via Swagger-coverage tool- Test data and environments: Setting up data in AWS DynamoDB and AWS RDS Postgres databases, and configuring AWS EC2 instances for internal testing- CI/CD pipelines: Created GitHub Actions workflows for automated tests, and also GHA Composite Actions to allow re-use across pipelines by different teams- Non-functional/performance observability: Introduced framework for LLM based applications\' performance (latency, tokens usage and costs) and evaluation monitoring, by exporting Open Telemetry traces and metrics via OTEL collector (running as a Docker container) to Honeycomb and Datadog, and building dashboards to visualise performance trends over time- Mentoring and knowledge sharing: Delivered knowledge sharing and enablement sessions to wider teams, to mentor members on effective test automation practices- AI automation: Created GitHub Actions job to automatically analyse and fix test failures in CI pipeline, by using Anthropic\'s claude-code-action GitHub Action (with Claude-Sonnet-4.5 model from internal AWS Bedrock account)- ML experiments tracking: Created framework to track team\'s ML experiments and artifacts on \"Weights and Biases\"(WandB) platform.
