Restored a heavily dysfunctional racing kart to a reliably running condition through a full overhaul of the carburetor, fuel pump system, clutch, brake and throttle pedal assembly, steering assembly, and the protective structures of the kart• Performed meticulous carburetor & engine tuning by adjusting air-fuel ratios, carburetor jet choice, spark timing, valve lash etc to increase kart power by 150%, and greatly increase engine responsiveness by eliminating throttle deadzones and engine bog• Organized fall semester karting track days to select and cultivate drivers for our formula car, and boost team bonding

I am a sophomore at Cornell University studying Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. I aspire to work in the automotive or motorsport industry as a development engineer, primarily inspired by my love for cars, and the thorough fulfillment I derive from my work on the Cornell Racing FSAE team. When I am not turning wrenches in the garage or running structural simulations in the computer lab, I enjoy being a motorsport athlete, doing mountain biking, playing squash or volleyball, or watching Formula 1.
