In my role as VP of Streaming Services, I transformed Sling TV’s client-facing and service applications across multiple platforms, significantly enhancing user accessibility and engagement on devices like Roku, Fire Stick, iOS, Android, Google, Samsung TV, LG TV, Comcast, Vizio, and Xbox. I spearheaded distributed software engineering teams across the US, India, and Ukraine, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation in encoding, publishing, packaging, CDN, and Varnish caching services. By leading feature launches with these teams and utilizing CI/CD practices, automated monitoring, and cloud hosting, I greatly improved application stability and reliability for Sling TV.Here are the achievements from this role:* Increased 4M MAUs by spearheading launch of approximately additional Sling channels, including FAST channels.* Delivered Sling TV 4K launch for Olympics across all major platforms, enhancing viewer engagement and brand visibility.* Assembled and developed high-caliber engineering team for Sling TV\'s ad technology, enabling server-side ad insertion on Sling and Dish STBs, significantly increasing ad revenue.
