WORK HISTORY
Group Chair @Vistage Worldwide, Inc.
Houston, TX, US
Most CEOs are the smartest person in every room they walk into. That is the problem.I lead a CEO peer advisory group in Houston a curated group of business owners and executives across industries who meet monthly with one purpose: to make each other better. Not to network. Not to pitch. To do the actual work of leading a company at the highest level.Every member also works with me one-to-one between sessions. That is where the real conversations happen about growth ceilings they can\'t break through, leadership gaps they haven\'t named yet, succession decisions they\'ve been postponing, and the mental weight that doesn\'t show up on any financial statement. What this group produces: better decisions, faster. Cleaner exits. Stronger leadership teams. CEOs who stop reacting and start leading with intention. In almost 13 years of leading this group, I have sat across from hundreds of moments where a business owner needed someone to tell them the truth. That is the work. And it is the most important work I do.When you are a Houston CEO or business owner who wants a room that makes you sharper, reach out.

ABOUT ARTURO G. LOPEZ
When I was 26, I sat in a room full of CEOs who were twice my age and watched them talk openly about their fears. Not their wins. Their fears. I expected posturing. What I experienced was a group of leaders who were honest about what they didn\'t know and relentless about getting better. That room changed the direction of my life.A year later, I was asked to lead one. I became the youngest Vistage Chair in the world at the time… not because I had all the answers, because I had already built a company from scratch, made expensive mistakes, and learned that the best decisions come from people who have nothing to gain by telling you what you want to hear. That is still what I believe today…it is the foundation of everything I do.Today, I lead a Vistage CEO peer advisory groups in Houston, a room where business owners and executives meet monthly with one commitment: make each other better. The construction CEO rebuilding his company around technology. The business owner rethinking how he reaches his market. Leaders who are doing the work, not talking about it. Revenue growth, cleaner exits, stronger teams, fewer sleepless nights. That is the work.I am also a business owner. I founded AGL Holdings in 2010, and for the past 15 years I have advised private and family-owned businesses on scaling, ownership transition, innovation and building a legacy that outlasts any one person in Texas, throughout Latin America, and Europe. I understand the pressure of running a company because I live it every day, not because I read about it.Every founder eventually faces the same question: what happens next? I guide them to answer it.What I focus on with my members and clients: longevity, strategic thinking, financial clarity, and the leadership confidence that only comes from being challenged by people who tell you the truth when the stakes are high.I am multilingual and native speaking in English and Spanish. I hold graduate degrees in Finance from Tulane and International Business from the University of St. Thomas, completed the CFP program at Rice University, and am a PCC-certified executive coach through the International Coaching Federation. What actually matters in this work is that I have sat on both sides of the table as the CEO who needed the room, and as the coach who leads it. I know what it costs to ask for help and I know what it is worth. When you are a Houston CEO or business owner who is tired of making decisions alone, I will welcome the conversation.
