ABOUT ANDREA TAYLOR
Experience designer and creative leader. As a creative first, I’m obsessed with designing the best channel-agnostic experiences for both brands and users. I started in traditional, above-the-line advertising as an art director. With an insatiable curiosity for learning new disciplines and a passion for crafting compelling stories, I developed my skillsets while designing immersive brand experiences, integrated B2C campaigns, sponsorship activations, conferences and B2B proprietary events, working with clients like Meta, Google, Coca-Cola and Shopify.With the fortune of being mentored by great leaders, spending my energy as an individual contributor wasn’t enough. Instead, I pursued creative leadership, from directing and collaborating with external agency partners to guiding internal teams through projects and supporting talent along their personal career journeys. A few years ago, a good friend convinced me to make a move and jump into tech. So I joined Shopify and broadened my skill set in the digital space, providing strategic creative direction for brand programs designed to support merchants and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurship while building brand affinity and awareness.My last big career decision has led to incredible growth and forever changed my mindset to be open to new challenges and paths.
