Hi, I’m Allie Sithtaphone. I’m a rising junior Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Rhode Island, and I’m committed to breaking barriers and engineering the future. I’ve done research in biosensing and neurorobotics, helping to design and test devices that make healthcare more accessible. I’m also stepping into a production planning internship, where I’ll learn how large-scale systems work behind the scenes and how to make them more efficient, inclusive, and human-centered. What sets me apart is how I combine technical skills with project management, communication, and empathy. Whether I’m working in a lab, leading a team, or planning events that bring people together, I care deeply about building trust and making real change. I’m especially excited about opportunities in the medtech industry where I can continue combining engineering and leadership to improve lives.
