I’ve always believed that great design is more than just making things look good—it\'s about telling stories that resonate with people. With years of experience working with brands like Cisco and McGraw Hill Education, I’ve had the privilege of diving deep into product design across diverse sectors such as education and technology. My journey has been fueled by a desire to create human-centered experiences that meet user needs and spark joy.As a design lead and mentor for the past six years, I’ve had the opportunity to guide teams in designing seamless user experiences while developing creative strategies for branding and marketing. One of my proudest moments was leading workshops at Cisco, where we innovated on our design system—this strengthened our component libraries and fostered trust among stakeholders through open communication.At McGraw Hill Education, as Manager of UX Visual Design, I focused on delivering impactful UI solutions that delighted users while ensuring brand consistency across projects. I spearheaded the visual redesign of ALEKS modules which significantly enhanced user engagement—proof that thoughtful design can make a real difference in learning environments.Beyond my professional work, I cherish opportunities to share knowledge as a guest lecturer at UC Davis. Discussing fundamental design principles allowed me to connect with aspiring designers while emphasizing the importance of understanding customer insights—a deeply passionate topic.In my spare time, you might find me exploring new AI tools or engaging in community projects that promote accessibility in tech.
