Responsible for leading the design of a new application from scratch. Leading design across the full lifecycle- Mixed methods user research (primary research including research plans and interview guides, surveys, user interviews, field studies, user personas and stakeholder personas / maps), synthesis and analysis- Design thinking: planning and leading workshops to carry out user journey mapping, ideation, solutioning and prioritisation, managing trade-offs and roadmaps- UX design: user flows and wireframes - UI design: use design system components to mock up screens - Rapid prototyping: leveraging Figma - Usability testing: planning logistics, screening and recruiting users, running tests and analysing findings for iteration. Additional responsibilities include- Contributing to design system - Facilitating cross-team knowledge sharing - Ensuring repeatability of assets across teams (scaling outputs where possible) for efficient processes - Mentoring and upskilling more junior designers
