Engage, nurture and develop key private sector partners through GRP’s role as theimplementing partner of the PREPARE Call to Action for the Private Sector. This will includebut is not limited to, organising meetings and events, coordinating and amalgamatingoutputs from private sector partners in concert with the communications team and the USGovernment, developing a private sector partnership strategy and following due diligenceprocesses for new partners, securing Letters of Intent from partners and partnershipagreements.• Work with the Head of Programmes to develop and drive an ambitious, multi-year strategyto increase and diversify funding in line with the principles on locally-led adaptation.• Identify, evaluate, research and cultivate high-potential prospects, including private, publicand family foundations, trusts, and bilateral and multilateral donors.• Manage relationships with prospective donors, working closely with the Chief ExecutiveOfficer and management team, and providing coordination and counsel as needed- Work with the Head of Programmes to contribute to grant reporting requirements.• Convey persuasively the mission of GRP to major donors, corporate executives, and others.

ABOUT ARISTIDE KAMBALE

I am a researcher and environmentalist with experience in the humanitarian, educational, and business development sectors, as well as organizational change. I have a strong background in project and program management with competencies in project report and proposal writing, program design, monitoring and evaluation, and relationship and stakeholder management. I am also a highly skilled and ambitious young professional with a particular interest extended to various facets of sustainable development and climate change. At the Global Resilience partnership I engage, nurture and develop key private sector partners through GRP’s role as the implementing partner of the PREPARE Call to Action for the Private Sector. This will include coordinating and amalgamating outputs from private sector partners in concert with the communications team and the US Government. I am a Master of Science degree graduate in Environmental Change and project Management at the University of Oxford, where I was a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholar and a UN COP 15 Delegate. I have a strong background in environmental science and engineering, carbon and environmental management, and humanitarian protection, having completed degrees and diplomas from the University of Edinburgh, the London School of Economics, and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. My core competencies include climate change adaptation, sustainability, and business development, which I apply to various research and consulting projects in Africa, Europe and beyond. My goal is to use my skills and knowledge to create positive social and environmental impact and foster resilience and transformation in the face of climate challenges.
