I spearhead efficiencies by leading a team of two Senior Financial Analysts in managing the firm’s forecasting practice from a P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet standpoint. My role allows me to create the annual and quarterly forecast updates, including all associated materials approved by the CFO and the BOD. In addition, I enhance forecasting by integrating business-unit-specific models that interact with the pre-existing forecasting models. My skills deliver the efficient management of an undergoing automation project to transfer a significant portion of the forecasting function from Excel to an automated platform. Recommended solutions offered by Oracle and Anaplan. I improved core forecasting models to receive data from Oracle, adopting the system as the primary financial reporting system. I created a COVID-19 volume model, forecasting North American COVID-19 deaths using IHME inputs and actuarial tables and methodologies.
