Management of third party risk assessment processes ensuring supplier control obligations are adhered to. • Working with and overseeing suppliers across the whole of Barclays’ global business areas. • Consulting with stakeholders to scope out new suppliers, proof of concepts, pilots, requests for proposal and requests for information. Conducting a data flow assessment, highlighting the risks and controls required including classification of data sets and their CIA ratings in line with the RICM. • Managing internal and external stakeholders to ensure risk evaluations are completed accurately, the correct supplier control obligations are in place and help the organisation effectively manage the risk in its supply chain. • Providing guidance around compliance on the options of mitigating risks. • Contributing to the continuous improvement of third party risk assurance procedures and guidelines whilst adhering to frameworks (ISO27001 and NIST exposure). • Produced a governance and policy framework ensuring this is followed by the team and stakeholders. • Improving risk assessments so they are easier to understand for the business and raising awareness to the business stakeholders of information security risks. • Being a point of contact and SME for 3rd and 4th party risk evaluations • Mentoring and training colleagues in the team. • Provide support to the team for desktop testing and control gap remediation and closure, this includes completing enhanced due diligence on third parties. • Deep understanding of security risk management life cycle. • Project management and creation of various third-party risk security procedures. • Identifying and analysing third parties, who have gone through a process of material change in relation to the services being provided. • Exiting third parties effectively and efficiently so that the organisation is protected when suppliers leave. • Being a central point to produce MI.
