ABOUT APARNA RAMASWAMY
As the Governance Compliance Officer at Modality LLP, I provide an overall oversight on the organisation’s compliance metrics. Working alongside the Medical Director, Managing Director and overall operational team, my objective is to ensure policies and processes are followed and are in-place and continually reviewed so the organisation can maintain it’s quality and work to achieve the CARE values. I also review and develop recovery plans to improve service performance and quality. With a M.Phil. in Sports Psychology and a Master\'s in Counseling Psychology, I have a strong background and interest in the psychological aspects of health and well-being.In addition to my current role, I am also a Functional Skills Trainer, co-founder, and psychologist, who creates and delivers training programs, digital content, and newsletters on various topics related to psychology, such as mental health, suicide prevention, and guided discovery. I am passionate about breaking stigma and promoting psychology to a wider audience, through my own platform, Mind Matters, and other channels. I also tutor and mentor students and researchers in psychology, and conduct independent research on football fan behaviors and psychology in general.
