ABOUT ANWITHA SRIVATSA NAVULURI

I am Anwitha Srivatsa, an IB Diploma Programme student with a strong academic interest in International Social and Public Policy and Anthropology. As the founder of PadSeva, I work closely with women in rural communities to provide bamboo-based biodegradable sanitary pads — a sustainable product I actively help synthesize. Through this initiative, I have witnessed firsthand how gender dynamics and entrenched social structures shape access to opportunity, health, and education.These experiences have deepened my interest in examining inequality through the lenses of Politics, International Relations, and Communications. In the future, I hope to integrate these disciplines into a career in Journalism.
