Currently working as a Systems Software Developer for developing and customizing the Board SupportPackages(BSPs) to integrate the QNX operating system with specific hardware platforms in embedded systems.Roles and Responsibilities include:1. Developing the drivers for various hardware peripherals which includes the adaptation of existing drivers for the embedded platforms.2. BSP development such as the board bring up, enhancement of the existing embedded software and the performance tuning.3. Developing the new driver architectures in order to support future hardware peripheral advancements.4. Ensuring the software aligning with the BlackBerry quality standards5. Developing the software under specialized safety standards such as ISO26262, IEC61508.6. Bootloader and board bring up skills such as u-boot/DRAM controller initialization / system clock configuration / GPIO & pinmux configuration for the drivers).7. Developing the Serial communication driver for UARTs, i2c, SPI, CAN, input devices, touch controllers. etc.8. Developing the Storage device driver targeting block storage devices, SD/eMMC, AHCI/SATA or flash technology (NAND/NOR).9. Developing High speed complex communication busses like PCIe, USB or SDIO.10. Writing the drivers for wired and wireless networking interfaces11. Developing know-how on power management, DVFS, thermal management.12. Domain expertise with security hardware and firmware (TPM, TrustZone.)13. Developing the code according to the Coding Standards using Coverty Check etc, as per MISRA guidelines
