ABOUT ANTHONY CISTARO

I’ve spent the last 12 years as an in-house media producer helping my employers better articulate their stories and values. I’ve produced documentary-style creative profile pieces, short-form social media, training videos, podcasts, internal communications, sketch comedy pieces, and have also managed higher-budget commercial production projects with outside agencies. I build my teams to actively contribute to the creative development process, as opposed to merely functioning as technicians. My professional acting background and public-speaking teaching experience positions me as a collaborative resource for executives who may not feel comfortable in a media setting. As a writer/director, I’m particularly passionate about helping professionals project their best selves on camera and in front of groups. The goal is not so much to change how one communicates, but to identify and amplify one’s personal strengths so that one confidently speaks from their place of truth. I most recently worked for Ripple, a blockchain-based technology/digital assets company, where I was hired to build out the firm’s audiovisual production capabilities. I managed a team of creators in our San Francisco headquarters. I previously worked for BlackRock, the world’s largest money manager, where I built their West Coast media production department. Additionally, I serve as a board member for the Northern California SAG-AFTRA Local, and I continue to work in theater, films and television as time and opportunities permit. I’m also a devoted ocean swimmer.
