ABOUT ANSH PURSWANI
I am currently a B.Com (Hons) student at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and what sets me is the variety of experiences that I bring on the table. With a keen interest in financial markets, I’ve cleared NISM and XV certifications and authored a research study on India’s NPA crisis (currently awaiting publication). Recently, I was shortlisted by my college to represent SBSC at the National Financial Literacy Quiz, where my team ranked 1st in the proctored round and advanced to the Top 10 UG teams in North India, qualifying 5th in semi finals and AIR 6 in the nationals.Alongside, I have been a national finalist in multiple case study competitions hosted by prestigious institutes like SRCC, HRC, and SGTB Khalsa, and earlier, I led my school team to the Top 30 at Prodigy, SSCBS out of 120 schools. At Startup Weekend, Masters’ Union, my team secured 2nd place, adding to my exposure in problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking.Beyond finance, I take pride in my communication and leadership skills. I’ve anchored large-scale stage events solo before audiences of people, actively participated in debates and group discussions, and earned accolades in interhouse quizzes and exhibitions. On a personal front, I’m a Brainobrain Champion, having secured ranks at district, state, national, and international levels, and I also pursue badminton as an intermediate player.These diverse experiences have shaped my adaptability, confidence, and problem-solving skills. I aim to leverage them to make meaningful impact and drive results for the society.
