ABOUT ANNIE TSOUKALAS
I am a senior at the University of Alabama pursuing a double major in Economics and Finance with a double minor in Mathematics and Studio Art. The combination of my majors and minors allows me to approach challenges with both analytical precision and creative insight.Outside of the classroom, I am involved on campus, currently serving as Director of Media for the Women\'s Hockey Team, Treasurer of the Printmaking Club, and Professional Development Co-Chair for the business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi. These experiences demonstrate my dedication to both academic and personal development, as well as my leadership at the University of Alabama.Professionally, I have recently completed an internship at Higginbotham where I obtained experience in employee benefit services as well as property and casualty insurance, and gained insight to the relationships between brokers and insurance carriers. I also previously interned with Southern Power in 2024 where I participated in fleet-wide projects, assisted in training a machine learning AI, and shadowed industry experts. Through these roles, I’ve strengthened both my technical and interpersonal abilities, as well as reinforced my dedication to leading with purpose and leveraging data insights.
