ABOUT ANNESHA GHOSH

I am a sports broadcaster, independent multimedia sports journalist, features and documentary producer, international cricket commentator and presenter, panel moderator, speaker, media trainer and content consultant with the experience of working with leading governing bodies in sport. My most recent major assignments include the 2025 SMAT as a BCCI broadcaster-presenter, 2025 Women\'s Cricket World Cup as an ICC broadcaster and documentary producer, the 2025 World University Games in Germany and the 2025 Indian Army Athlete Media Training Workshop as a media trainer, the 2025 National Games of India Conclave as a panel moderator and consultant, the 2024 U-19 Asia Cup in Malaysia as an Asian Cricket Council World Feed broadcaster, the Paris 2024 Olympis and Paralympics with the Olympic Broadcasting Services and the Olympic Information Services, the Winter Youth Olympics Gangwon 2024 as a producer-editor-writer with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Australia Women\'s tour of Bangladesh 2024 as a World Feed broadcaster, the Men\'s ODI Cricket World India 2023 as an ICC TV broadcast features and documentary producer, the FIFA Women\'s World Cup 2023 in Sydney as a multimedia journalist; IPL 2023, the inaugural WPL 2023, the ICC Women\'s T20 World Cup South Africa 2023, and the FIFA U-17 Women\'s World Cup India 2022 for FIFA Studios.I was the media lead, sole press attaché, public relations officer and content producer for the entire Indian contingent at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Prior to that, I was a full-time multimedia journalist and sub-editor with ESPNcricinfo and ESPN India from February 2017 to April 2022 in Mumbai.My write-ups, photographs, and videos have been published in the Olympic Review, the Olympic Information Services, the England Cricket Board\'s official magazine, Vogue, ESPN, ESPNcricinfo, and South China Morning Post, and on the Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera English, Wisden Almanack, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, International Sports Press Association, FISU, International Military Sports Council.Having begun my career in sports journalism in February 2017, I covered the 2017 World University Games in Taipei City as a FISU Young Reporter, the 2018 and 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and Lausanne as an IOC Young Reporter, the Wuhan 2019 Military World Games as a writer-photographer with CISM, the 2020 Women\'s T20 World Cup in Australia as ESPN\'s only overseas cricket correspondent, and the 2023 & 2022 FairBreak T20 as a producer-commentator.A major part of my work has been focused on women\'s sport.
