ABOUT ANNA HINRICHS
As a first generation American born into a German family, I have always lived in two worlds, no matter where I was. Growing up in different places abroad and within the United States has enabled me to build connections with people from different backgrounds and taught me the importance and value of diversity, inclusion, and adaptability. My first job at the Kids Academy at Life Time led me to appreciate the value of a structured, organized, welcoming and inclusive environment and furthered my passion for helping others. I carried those interests with me into Habitat for Humanity, when I had the honor of being one out of eighteen seniors selected to be on the Habitat for Humanity Leadership Board of my high school. Through this experience, I discovered my passion for giving back to my community and the power of collaboration. The satisfaction I received working together with others to achieve a common goal and making a small difference in someone else’s life has helped me to define what I value in my life. Seeing how successful business leaders can make meaningful impacts on their communities has inspired me to pursue my undergraduate degree in business and grow into a compassionate and determined leader.
