I head up the arts and culture desk, developing strategy for the section. Articles I\'ve edited have been picked up by a number of outlets, including The Guardian, BBC Culture, BBC World Service, Wired, CNN, National Geographic, The Smithsonian, Slate, Metro, Pink News and Newsweek.On a day-to-day basis, I devise and develop story ideas, manage and liaise with the site’s other arts editors, and commission and work with academic experts on their stories. I plan and co-write our weekly newsletter, Something Good and have also written for the UK and global daily newsletters. I am part of the senior sub editing team for the site and I have covered for the deputy editor during their annual leave. I am also part of the Quarter Life team commissioning content for readers in their 20s and 30s and I deliver regular media training sessions to academics.
