ABOUT ANNA MCQUEENY

Kansas City is having its time in the spotlight, and I get to document it.We\'re a 9-5 city: we don\'t really \"do\" content creators and story telling the way other big cities do. But in the last 5 years, KC got badass. We\'re full of history, cult-like sports fans, and a brand new spotlight. The big question: how do we take advantage of all these new eyes on us?I\'m Anna McQueeny, Director of Marketing & Social at Molzer Development: leading video production, brand storytelling, and social strategy for a development firm with followers alongside a tight knit, three-person team.My approach: Real, structured, and not uber-polished. Keeping my subject’s personality true to self on screen is my priority, and that includes writing scripts that don\'t sound like AI mush. At the end of the day, Kansas City deserves content that feels like the down-to-earth KC I grew up with.A few things that shaped how I lead- Head coaching 350+ kids at a country club for three summers, aka the best 60+ hour weeks of my life- Co-producing an original 25-minute theatrical production with 50+ cast members my senior year at KU (wrote, directed, choreographed, and costumes: with won awards to show for it)- Growing Molzer\'s following 1,600% in 8 weeks.My office?
